Hooked up with my neighbor last night for a cars and plane event at the South St Paul airport for free car and plane rides.  Derek would have enjoyed the T’s and A’s and I know John D would have liked the truly ‘open’ cockpit plane.

Free food cooked on the grill nice cars and fun aircraft, lots of younger ones and they all got rides.

The white 62 SS  vert had original factory under dash AC complete with the high idle knob, just way cool.

Perhaps our club could get involved next year.

I've heard about this show in the past and usually, like this, after the fact. Does it run thru the weekend too ?

Cool!  Sounds like a fun event.  The red ford truck is of the same era as mine 1942-1947.  You don't see many of them around.  There was a young lady (12 maybe) getting her picture taken by my car at the show last Saturday.  She had ran down earlier and got the number off it becasue she voted for it for peoples choice.  When her parents were taking her picture next to it we let her sit in it and get another taken behind the wheel.  Hope it made her day!

It's just a one night deal.

Need more intel to give it to the event coordinator to check out.  Any details?  Who put it on?  Is it only once a year?  etc.

Weeknight events/shows are pretty tough for those of us that work full time during the week.

I’ll pass to the EC when I know next years date. Mid week events are tough for some but the location is a good one.
