Saturday - Centuria WI Memory Days car show
Permalink

For anyone not heading to Brainerd this weekend I recommend going this Saturday to the Centuria Memory Days car show that Shannan and I attend each year.  Centuria is the next town north of St. Croix falls on hwy 35.  I've added it to the calendar and there is a link to Memory Days there.  After Car Craft this is her favorite show.  The show is short as it runs from 8 - noon and has cool door prizes.  There is a pancake breakfast that we attend once we park.  There are also craft, food , bake sale, etc. vendors the next block over from the car show.  After the show we tend to do something else in the area as long as we're there.  In the past we have gone on the  paddle boats in Taylor Falls, visited the winery north of St. Croix Falls, the drive in restaraunt in Taylors Falls or a combination of things.  If anyone is interested in going and wants to meet up with us let me know.

There is not a restriction on years.  There is usually a few newer cars.  Have seen Vettes, Vipers, Challengers, Camaros, Mustangs, etc.

Mike, that sounds like fun, but it would be a major haul from the south metro, and a really early drive to be there by 8 a.m.!  hyper

Lot's of cool cars at the show this morning but sadly there wasn't a single Chevelle!  Some of my favorites were a 40's DeSoto convert, 39 Caddilac, 36 Packard, a 50's Hudson Hornet, 27 Buick and this Stanley steamer.

It was really cool seeing and hearing it driving!

Kinda like SShinkvelle.....tiphat

The Stanley looks like one I saw at a private collection not far from Centuria last fall. I think a few of the others were there too.
