This has got to be the earliest I've ever done that.
I removed the blades yesterday to sharpen them and had a slight mishap. I use my 1/2" impact to zip the nuts off the blades and when the center nut came loose, the torque of the impact spinning at 6,000 rpm threw my hand to the side and the nut must have gone airborne. The compressor was running at the time so I never heard it hit to know which direction to start looking. I wandered around the shop a while looking but for the guys who have been here, they know it's a big area with a LOT of "stuff" to look thru. It was much faster to go to Ace and get 2 new nuts and be done with it... Now I have a spare, that I'll never find, when the time comes that I need it.
Mowed for the third time today, it was so thick, I didn't think I was going to get through it. I drive the mower up on the four post lift when the blades need sharpening, works pretty slick.
