Actually... I'd like to hear the caption for this and count how many OSHA safety violations we can find with this pic!  I guess at least they both have glasses on...  laughing

It may not look it, but safety was forefront during this job. I don't think anyone during the entire day needed as much as a band-aid. With limited tools & resources you have to improvise.

There was a piece of casting flash that needed to be knocked off (not a major reshaping). There wasn't a vise or bench grinder available, and it had to get done. Pushrod is doing an impersonation of a bench grinder, and I was controlling the part.

We have all been guilty of stuff like that.. Was going to make a joke about being able to count to ten but I havent done a finger inventory of the club members lately.

I figured it had to be something logical. Pushord would never offer to hold it if it were unsafe.

I've only been able to count to 9 -3/4 since I was 14... lost the tip of my RH pinkie in a belt drive mechanism on a "creation" I built. Trust me, I'm not doing anything to risk what I've got left.

I should re-word my previous statement. I knew John would never risk holding something like that if his hands were at risk. I see its actually Craigs thats actually grinding.

Roger on the card.  Took her to the outlet mall in Albertville last Friday to donate to the Coach purse fund since I've been buying car parts lately...  It's how it works in my house.  Only fair I suppose.
