John D.-Are you bringing the club popup and banner?  I'll throw in the banner I have just in case.  Do you know if Pushrod is coming and bringing any of the club goodies?

Ian, I'll have membership forms.  Glad to hear you are re-upping!  thumbsup

We'll have another tag-along chevelle that will be parking with us. Here's the build:
http://northstarchevelles.activeboard.com/t47915058/friends-66-chevelle-ls-engine-swap/?page=last

He's been to a couple thing we've done as a club, including the fall BBQ at 67SS's a couple years back (but with his gold 67 Camaro ragtop)

Thanks everyone for coming last night and rotating through 'barrier watch'.  It was a great showing for the club!  thumbsup

Sorry we had to turn a couple of members away, but unless you are there by 5:30 p.m., the lot is full.

Thanks to Tony for letting us queue up at his place, then staying until 10 o'clock with John D. to man the barricades and take down the club tent (sorry I couldn't stay until then as Gearlube was on call and I needed to get him to a computer STAT)!  beers

I'm sure Bryan will post some pics when he gets a chance.

Even before 5. The lot was pretty much full. I think next year, we may have to try getting there even earlier then 4:30 and park a few of us right in front of that Popcorn vendor and the little burger spot right next to them. But you hit on the key Stan. If your not there by at least 5PM, and even thats a stretch, then you wont likely find a spot.

And not just a spot to park with us, you might not even find a good spot to park at the entire show for that matter. The lots fill up quick.

I have pics, but the pool is calling first. I just did 54 holes today and the sun was hot. Even the dinosaur was felling the heat and the clown face was melting.

I agree w/ Mike. That's a cool 'Club' shot, even if there aren't any wagons in it.

That little white tent across from us had a few flavors of ice cream left when I got some and the after dinner mint flavor I got ended up being probably one of the best tasting ice cream cones I have ever had. This show is always a lot of fun, I wish it wasnt such a treacherous drive and so far away for me. Even without traffic, its a good half hour to 40 minutes.

It was also nice to see an abundance of 66-67 cars at a club event for a change.

Looks like we had every year present except '68, and maybe '71? (Is Chad's a 71 or 72? I can't remember... The other 5 single-headlight cars present are all '72s)

I'm kinda partial to this one. 2 66 front ends together isn't often seen.

I had another cool shot that was muffed up by a chair in the way, totally ruined the pic, and somehow I didn't notice it when I was doing it.
