Sorry All, even though the meeting location is in my back yard of Rosemount... I won't be able to attend as I'll be in the air half way to Taiwan when you have the meeting.  I'll be thinking of you as I lay awake in the aluminum tube for 13+4 hours.  banghead

Bryan won't be able to make it either, but I'm sure Chris and John D. will have it under control.  It's important that the club have a meeting in October to discuss Officer elections in November.  Please support them on holding a productive meeting!

Stan

I have a prospective new member coming so I’ll ask all you guys to be on your best behavior Saturday.

Chris maybe you could shave. Pushrod could you wear a clean shirt?  John D could you comb the hair?  I have some coupons for Great Clips if you need it.

We need to setup a support group for John E who seems to have really gone off the deep end with this car truck crossbreeding deal he has going on up in Rogers.

Also, noticed Derrick is still in the CAC, lots of nude metal on that firewall, what’s the deal? Saw the pix with your son pounding on a fender.

Could be the last meeting we can drive our cars to, hope to see ya all there. I’ll try to remember to use the mouthwash that morning.

Finished wiring the Trany today, got light. Get the truck unloaded?

Ok, Master Chief Dashboard...

I'll get a haircut, but break out the Brasso & Kiwi - I expect buttons gleaming like diamonds, and shoes like mirrors! razz

Hair cuts, shined shoes, shaving, this club is getting too exclusive.

 I got a few.

I'm not complaining though, It's nice to know many have got my back.

I should be there tomorrow, baring any unforeseen circumstances.

JJ and I really had a good time. Craig thanks for setting it up. We really liked it when they started that engine up. They have some serious $$ in those toys. We are making plans to go to the tractor pull in June : )

We had a fun time too.  It seems like I spent more time with the kids then the adults though.  Of course, some of the adults consider themselves as kids.

Me and my two year old were just walking back into the shop when they fired up the engine.  I was just crossing the threshold on the way back out when it started.  It was very loud outside too.

I can only dream about having that much power at my foot.

It was a good time, Rob keep bringing the boys as long as they want to come, your time with them is special, their going to grow up fast.

Thanks everyone for being on your best behavior, what a great day, John D had a hair cut that would have passed inspection in the Air Force, Craig had a clean shirt and I used mouth wash.

I think our newest member Jim enjoyed himself.

And, Stan is 6000 miles away playing with a window????

Hey guys- Tammy, the girls and I just got home from spending the rest of the afternoon out at Brets farm, I checked out the fab shop, the semi truck repair/ restoration shop, all the farm tractors and all the other cool stuff. I even got my hands dirty helping Chris reinstall a rebuilt gear reduction box for a corn auger! I would personally like to thank Bret and Jeanine for their hosptality at the Money Maker shop and at the farm. Thanks to all the club members who attended the meeting today, for those of you that brought your kids, keep bringing them, they are the clubs future.tiphat

Wish I could have made it... I have uncles that are into tractor pulling, so this would have been right up my alley.

I had a good time. Its cool to see other kinds of motorsports like this close up. Not to mention being able to hear one run, that was way cool.
