I still have the button showing, but nothing happens other than a small rectangular box shows up where the full view used to be.

John D., help?

I never use it. But I tried it and it doesnt work.

One thing I think many people may not realize is that even though John D is our webmaster. He wasnt the "creator" of the forum (meaning this web forum we use). So when there are physical problems with the message board not working, its likely a server or originates far above Johns head. In other words, its not usually something John can fix.

I'm guilty of starting this thread, and I understand that we are only 'users' of the web forum software and that John D. isn't the programmer.

Having said that, he is usually able to look into it and determine if it's a setting on the forum or a software issue.

This function worked before, I only wondered if it stopped working for anyone else.

Besides... he likes the challenge!  tiphat

Test message to myself and others

Not working for me either.

As Chris & Stan have stated, I only have control of "options" available on the board, and some layout designs. The host can (and does) run revision updates without notice, and sometimes things get screwy for a day or two.

I have checked the "setup" of the board, and there is no provision to turn on/off reply preview - so I'm guessing it's on their end.

Give it a day or two, and if it persists try dumping cookies, and I'll send a request into the host.

Hasn't worked for me for several days. I use it extensively to spell check and correct the inevitable mistakes I make before going "live" with a post. I now have to edit my posts for mistakes.
