Just a phone number... and specify "no texts". I hate texts. If you want any answer to your question, pick up the damn phone and call me.

I get a lot of responses through email (from the CL ad).  That way I can screen it if it appears to be a scammer or doesn't look real.

I don't share my phone number until exchanging an email or two

I'm like Stan. Almost all first emails I get are short replies covering their question. If they reply with more than the "I'll send my courier..." I'll usually give them my phone number

Yup, let them reply thru CL first. And I'll sometimes ask for their number if they don't provide it. That weeds out the non-obvious scammers.

If you're going to let them take the title without going to a DMV, require thye let you take a picture of them and the signed title before they leave. That is proof positive what the buyer looks like when they smash it in to someone with no insurance. You HAVE to protect yourself !!!

CL gives you an email to go through so you don't get that crap.
