When I bought my Chevelle I got a key for the ignition and one for the trunk.  Little did I know neither ift the doors of glove box.  I bought a set of locks and just finished installation.  Who would have guessed how much fun changing the glove box lock could be, not to mention the ignition.  Learned lots of new stuff like how to pull the locking plate and if you have a tilt wheel it works best to have it in the lowest position as you actually have enough wire length to remove the turn signal unit.  Amazing how fast the skin on your knuckles grows back.  Live and learn as they say.  If anyone wants an ignition lock or truck lock with key speak up before they go in the garbage.   smile.gif

BTW, I can recode or rekey a cylinder if someone needs it. Been a while on the really old ones, but I can do it. I can also cut replacement keys at work too.

Do you have access to the older style hex head ignition key, or do I need to supply it for cutting ?
