Is this a complete body ? The A pillar covers need to be saved too. Do you have a pic of the whole thing ?
The only way to save the A/C parts and have them look right on a transplant is to drill out the spot welds for those pieces. That will be a lot of work in a yard/field. The inner kick panel is part of this too.
If you plan on installing factory air in a 66 using this firewall I have an complete AC system for the engine and interior side. I’ve rebuilt the system with new seals and a new evaporator. You would need your dash control cables.
It’s the system out of my 65 Buick completely redone with new paint. I plan to list it on a couple sights, let me know if your interested.

Thanks Mitch, I added a photo after original post down in 1st post. I was think of cutting off what not worth saving to take up less space. Then put the rest behind my garage. Maybe I or someone could use something.
OK, so nothing we could pick up and put on a trailer. Would electricity be available for an electric sawzall to cut it down there, or do you need to take it all and cut it up at home ?

I could put it on a trailer and hall it to my friends shop ( 1/2 mile) and cut up with saws all or cut off saw etc. the rest would go in his pile for metal recycling.
You'll need to save the right cowl/kick panel too, so this may end up being a good size chunk to haul home and store. If you don't have an immediate need, it may not be worth the effort. If you are thinking of adding to 1 of your cars, to have it look factory, you should save the entire firewall panel so there isn't a splice seam somewhere.
Remove the A pillar covers, if nothing else. They are sought after because the repros don't fit well, no real surprise there...
