Making my recent SB rebuild look like a 66 L79

It’s  coming along. Now dealing with the VC, air cleaner, PCV, and Air Vent situation.  I plan to run the PCV from the Oil fill tube to the carb as factory. I want to run 66 Chevelle chrome Valve Covers.  I want to use a 66 holly air cleaner base with the flame arrestor and vent tube.  So I will have to modify one VC to accept a hose from the vent tube (K&N 85-1050).  I would like to use a 66 dual snorkel air cleaner lid and 3” filter.  I will probably have to use 3/8” spacers because of the double roller rockers, maybe the thick VC gaskets might work.   Any opinions or comment.  Do you see any problems?

Back to ground zero on the air cleaner, valve cover situation.  SS396  techs were wrong.  Shipping back was over $65.  Their return process not all what they claim to be.  Seems this dual snorkel will only work with a 327 block without any heat spacer.  I would have to eliminate  that, shorten the fuel line, add VC spacer, and modify the valve cover to accept a flame arrestor hose.
