Paint removal from parasitic shroud, how?

I have an original plastic shroud from the 60’s. A previous owner sprayed everything, like the fan shroud in this case.  Any ideas how to safely remove this paint?

I would first try pressure-washing to see if you can get it to peel off that way. Paint doesn't adhere very well to a lot of plastics.

Sanding would be pretty tedious around the ribs, so a paint-stripper would be my next move.

I need to do the radiator also.  I think I will try pressure washing first On both.  Kind of worrying about how much pressure to use.

I wouldn't be too concerned about the pressure on plastic, but the fins on the radiator aren't going to like any pressure. Even a strong garden hose can fold them over. Is there a repair place near you that could soak it and remove the paint chemically  ?

Look for Bulldog paint stripper. I have seen it used on modern bumper covers and it makes the paint dry up and crack-just about pops right off the part.
