Looks like the world has gone nuts up there in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area and into surrounding suburbs.

Please stay safe, friends... if anyone is too close to the action for comfort and needs to bug-out over the weekend, let us know if we can help.

I heard this morning the Northtown mall in Blaine was looted/burned last night about 25 min. from me.  On KQ92 they said that some of the looters downtown last night were shouting the Burbs are next!  Hopefully things don't get any worse than this, and all are safe.

I'm hearing rumors of things starting in Rochester tonight.

They haven’t made it to the St. Cloud area yet, so I’m okay. It’s just crazy and sad. And to think, I’m moving a little closer to the city in a couple of weeks.

I work real close to Northtown, it did see some damage.

Lake Street and surrounding area is pretty messed up, University Ave to the East of Snelling was last night's "event". I have many customers in the affected areas, and we had to continually update contingency plans as things changed.

Tonight (Fri), a lot of the suburbs have an 8pm curfew and many large companies are boarded up. Large shopping areas closed early, and there's a general cautiousness to people's activities in my area.

We went grocery shopping at 8 pm last night in the Hudson area and most of the stores congregated on the south side of I94 were closing up. There was the most police presence in the area that I have ever seen since moving here and it seemed they were ready to close off the I94 bridge if the movement came this far.

The Cub Foods a block from my house is boarded up, but open.

My daughter lives in a nice neighborhood by Lake Hiawatha in south Mpls. They have bags packed, including everything they need for their dog. They are ready to leave on a minute's notice. We have a spare bedroom ready for them.

On the news this morning, they said last night's riots had nothing to do with the murdered man, but were just rioting for the sake of rioting.

My "zone" for work is the area along Lake street from the river to Lake Calhoun and from 94 to 62 so im working in these hard hit areas every day & use lake street as well as 38/Chicago intersection almost daily. I can tell you during the day, all the neighborhoods have been peaceful and my customers haven't mentioned anything about being afraid for their safety. I was in uptown yesterday afternoon & it was amazing all the businesses boarded up. Then watched on TV (again) last night all the businesses looted & burned that I drive by daily. Even though I live in the subs, im in this area so much I feel like I live here too.

Its bad enough that we are dealing with a pandemic, now we have to deal with this sh!t.
