If you plan to paint an used topper to match your truck, you might want to consider just getting a new one. When I bought my 2011, I bought a new ARE from Toppers and more. They took the vin number of the truck and called it in to ARE. The topper arrived already painted to match and I can't see any difference in color from the truck... it truly is amazingly the same.

May have spoke too soon, does a 2013 fit a 2017 ? doesn't say how short either.
