Not an immediate change; but wondering if I would run into problem. Currently its a 76 or 73 350 block with th350 and a deco HEI dist. Thinking of using a Winter intake or the current edelbrook performer intake on a Gen I SB. What I am wondering is if I keep the current th350 and Intake if I will be able to install the SB dist from the late 60's early 70's. looks like there are mounting holes for the coil; the th 350 linkage is hooked to one of those holes. It looks like you could keep that in its current place and mount the coil bracket with the same bolt. It would just be nice to know before hand from someone who has does that. I would lthink that would be the same as any chevelle with a SB, 4 barrel, Holley or edelbrock intake, and an automatic with a dist/coil ignition system.
Forgot to add, that distributor is a Pertronix electronic cast body duplicate of an original GM distributor with matching high output coil. I had the plugs gapped at .042 and it started and ran excellent.
