I finally got around to getting logged into the forum!  My name is Gavin, I live in Becker, MN but only for another month.  Those of you on the Team Chevelle forum will know me by my same handle I use here.  Last June I bought Stephen Mattias’s Malibu.  Looking forward to getting to know all of you and meeting you sometime in the future.

Welcome Gavin, looking forward to seeing some pics of the Malibu and hearing about the car. Things have been slow due to the Covid issue but we will have a get together before long and be abe to introduce ourselves.

I see you’re from Lino Lakes.  I graduated from Forest Lake.  I know the area.

 I'm also Lino, welcome aboard!

Getting out of Becker, where are you moving to?

We are moving to Otsego on June 15th.  Closer to my wife’s place of employment.  We’ve lived 2.5 miles from my work for a while, and she‘s not liking the commute.  So, it’s about halfway between.  Sadly, I wont be taking the Malibu anywhere soon as I’ve parked it at my dad’s while we get ready to move.  He’s in Pine City, so it’s not exactly a short trip to go and get it.  Oh, well.  Still lots of great cruising weather in June and later.

Ah, yes.  Beautiful Santiago.  Been to Bailey Ray’s once.  I drive through there on the way to my dad’s house.  As far as breaking clays, I haven’t fired a shotgun in 25 years or better.  But, it’s never too late to start again.  Things are going to be crazy around here for the next month and change with the impending move to Otsego.  I won’t be a stranger, though.  Still will be working at SherCo.
