Looking like that will be moving day. I'm going avoid all the hassles with trying to do this on national moving weekend.

I am planning on going, weather permitting. I saw Bill L. today at the Studebaker show in Hugo and he is planning on going. He stated that you need to get there before 8. Do you want to come here and then we travel together?

Pick a meet up location and time, and I'll make it work. Anyone else interested can join as well.

I'll try to not bring the rain curse with me. razz

Thanks

I'll be at the Forest Lake HS a little before 06:30 even though my neighbors are going to hate me firing up the Malibu and leaving the house shortly after 5 a.m.   I'll have to roll it down the driveway and fire it up in the street...aknana

Just found this info link: LINK TO SHOW INFO

This looks like a waaay bigger event than I thought it was, and they cut it off at 800 cars for the show.

Lots of airplane stuff going on at the same time, so should be a pretty cool day.

It's a great show. I went last year, had a lot of fun, looked at a lot of old airplanes, very cool.

Can't make it this year, going to a car show party at a former coworker,s house.  It's always fun to see some of the people I used to work with.

I used to get heck from the wife, leaving at 2:30 am for BTTF. Last year I left when she went to bed..10:35. I was second in line at 11:15 pm...about 12:30, I layed down on the back seat of the '62 Impala Hotel with my pillow and blanket and slept until 5 am, when it got too noisy around there to sleep anymore...thumbsup

Moving day for me tomorrow...y'all have fun. Hope it doesn't rain much, for us all.

If you have never gone to this show, YOU NEED TO GO. Tons of cars and different types of car. Car count had to be close to 800. They had cars everywhere. I saw 5 Citreons, 2 Ford GT's, 10 Cobras and a GMC Motor home club showed up with about 15+ motor homes. They all came in at the same time. The air show was fantastic. Then at 1 PM, cars started going speed runs (timing runs) on the runway. I hear one that hit 120 mph.

Maybe next year, we can organize a club appearance.

With the help of several people, we were able to move all the major furniture today...nana

Next year I am going to more car stuff. This year has been overwhelming with house hunting and now moving.
