LED Tail Light Project

I decided to make a safety upgrade by installing LED tail lights, and found these on ebay made by upauto.com and replaced both the brake/tail and reverse light buckets.  Easy install since they have the bulb ends already installed and while I bought the kit with the new flasher, everything worked without needing it.

The full kit was about $200 all in.

Big change, and I feel safer on the road now.

Before and after pic's are attached.

Forgot to add...the old tail light lenses and bulbs will get re-purposed for use in the rear bumper I saved from the vert restoration to become wall art and light up when the garage door opens up.  I stole that idea from some other creative guy in the club.  beers

Stan how do they compare to the ones you had put in the convert?

I’d like to do my tail lights to go along with the updated headlights.

You can check them out tomorrow at SMN's.  I bought the full kit with lenses and LED's since my lenses were original and really looking worn out.

They as bright, but don't have any motion to them like the Easy Performance ones.  But...they were $100 less as well.
