Electric throttle solenoid

Help, I need a solenoid for the coupe and can't find Stan's reference to what he has been using...he has too many posts to go thru them all...laughing

He he does not have a part number listed . He also has a Holley and I don’t think the solenoid is the same for edelbrock?

Wow, I did a search and $165 for a "kit" !!

I ordered an SMP-ES9 solenoid from Rockauto for $55 and will fabricate a bracket. I may have some spare metal around here from some past project..dunno

Should be about the same solenoid as what I found through Napa.  I did buy the Holley bracket through Summit as I don't have your fab skills or the time to do it like you retired guys.  razz

 The Holley bracket is cheap and if it was even close to working with the Edelbrock, I might have bought it. The Edelbrock bracket must be made of a precious metal because it's about $60...doh
