Boxed Rear Control Arm Score!

I hadn't trolled CL lately for Chevelle parts, and had the urge last night.  Scored a set of boxed lower control arms from some cool guys just down the road in Blaine.  It was a Dad and his two sons that were pretty cool.  They are into the street racing scene which I saw when they showed me their garage with a turbo'd LS 80's short box Chevy truck, a BBC G body Malibu, BBC '71 Pro street Chevelle, and a Fox body waiting for a twin turbo'd LS to be dropped in.  They call themselves Jemming Performance.  They knew about Chris P.'s cousin that used to have the '67 silver drag Chevelle.

Anyway, looks like I'll be swapping out the bad upper control arm bushings sooner than I thought when I decide to tear into getting the old lowers off that I think are original to the car, so many years of being in place.  banghead  I have a stock rear anti-sway bar already, so that will go in after the boxed lowers are in.

Oh, forgot to add that I picked them up for $30 for the set.  razz

I "might" have a pair of uppers here so you can re-bush all 4 arms and then just "throw" them in...laughing

If the bolts and sleeves are anything like Andrew's, it will still be a day long battle.
