Thanks  again to those that helped with my trunk crossmember project. Everything is back together and Keith installed a tire on my recently painted rim.

Looks good, but does the radio work?

Looks great Jim! What did you finally do with your springs?

Used my springs that came with the car and a 1 1/4 spacer. Don't like how the tops are made with the reproduction springs.  Maybe the place you got you spring use a top that is similar to the factory springs that have more of a flat top.

i would like springs with a free height of 15 1/2 or slightly less that have an installed height of 10".  I found out the springs on the hardtop were factory as in the GM material book.  Maybe someone likes the more raked look.

Not in the garage.  It's been raining constantly for the past 4 days.  It's a 51 year old radio, maybe I can't expect it to work any better than it does.  I know I don't work nearly as good as I once did.
