When I built the shop I used 4ft Fluorescent lights and as time has gone on they have burned out ballasts or gone dim. So along with the smoke and dust from the years shop is getting dark. Of the 16 lights only 3 are working with both bulbs, 4 completely dead, remaining 9 only have one bulb. Cash is a bit tight due to a few issues along with projects in the way so a complete relighting is out of the question.
My wife was a Sam Club and ran across the last 2 4ft LED shop lights for $15 each. Hopefully she will remember me on her next trips and pick up 1 or 2 each visit. With all of the things around the shop now at least 20 will help brighten up the shop.
That will be great to get rid of the flickering, slow starting fluorescent lights. Plus I can say reduced energy and eco friendly, last batch of burned out tubes cost $24 for disposal.
