Going to be building my buddies 396 shortly and wondering if any of you have run into valve cover to brake booster interference with tall valve covers? Going to be running full roller rockers so will need taller then stock to clear everything. I don't remember this being a problem on chevelles like it was on other gm models.

From what I remember hearing most guys swap to a smaller PB booster solving problem.

Yup, go to the earlier 9" booster if it has clearance issues.

I used  Comp Cams Ultra Pro Magnum Rockers, with thick cover gaskets.

I also machined the Exhaust Polly Locks to gain a little clearance.

The rockers and intake locks clear easy under standard covers.

Thanks Guys. He went with these, kind of an old school look but I like them. I don't think they will cause any clearance issues.
