For any of you northern folks in the club this is a pretty cool show. Some really cool planes come in if the weather is nice which it looks like it is going to be. Check out the link for more info. Pretty sure myself and Mike S are going to be there.

I plan on going. Nice and short, free entry, planes, tractors, cars and pancake breakfast. What is not to like!

I think I can sneak away from chores for a few hours on Sunday. I've never been to that show before, looks interesting.

Had a nice cool morning at the Rush City airport for the Fly In/Cruise In show. A lot of nice cars, some neat airplanes, including an Albatross sea plane.

Sorry, never thought to snap any pictures.  I did see Mike S taking some, maybe he will upload a few????

Was the Albatross a big-azz white & blue machine with radials?

If so it flew SW over my house at about 700ft later this afternoon.

Yep that was it. Twin 1525 HP radials according to the info they had on the plane.

The 3 trainers next to the Albatross passed about a mile south of here in the afternoon, presumably heading for Holman Field. Plenty of noise out those 3 too...cool
