Moving--- Free Stuff and a few for Sale
Permalink

As I already posted that we are moving to KC, I need to purge some things.  Here's what I have so far on the Free Stuff:

-1968 Vintage cast iron 4 barrel intake manifold-FREE

-1968 SBC cast iron exhaust manifolds-FREE

-1972 Drum brake booster-FREE

-1971-1972 Black interior door panels (Well used)-FREE

-1970 Rear lower valance panel-FREE

-2 Ea. AC evap boxes (1 is a '70 from John E.'s Elky, and I think the other came from Derek?)-FREE

-1972 Stock steering box (Worked fine, replaced it with the Jeep box)-FREE

-Forgot to get a pic, but I have a '70-72 deck lid that has some small rust pitting.  It is already primed.  I will add a pic later-FREE

FOR SALE:

-2 ea. Front '71 to 72 Bumpers (O.K. daily drivers, but I was hanging on to them since they are original GM, and good replating cores)-$25 Ea. to NCC Members

-1970 SBC AC Compressor with brackets (From John E.'s Elky tear down)-$25

I leave for KC Saturday, so let me know if you want any of this, and I'd prefer that you take it now, but can hold it until May 1st if needed.  I can also meet part way in the metro if it helps to hand it off.

Post or PM me if you have questions.

Thanks!

It's yours Derek.  If you or Steve S. go to the April meeting, you can stop by and pick it up at my place.  We will be there until the first week in May.

Bruce, from the outside of the booster to the end of the master is 8".  Sorry, it's a pkg. deal, so you get both the booster and the master if you want it?

i will let you know by tonight after i can measure the space (and if someone else really needs it let them have it)

Thanks

Good luck with that. Got quite the pile of metal out to the shop from the winter, good stuff like rotors, drums axles etc and wanted to spring clean it out. My scrap guy wanted me to pay him to come get it. I'll guilt him into coming out as I am not going to turn into his commodity broker. He only wants to show up when prices are high or I have a convertor or two laying around and I have never charged him anything for the easiest pick up ever, all stacked dry right in the door. Last guy I had wanted me to  just leave it outside (which I hate that stuff outside) and he would take his time coming after it. Last time I had a catalytic convertor on the bottom of the pile and he dragged it out spreading crap everywhere. Called him and he just says that was all he wanted. Saw his truck about 8 miles out of town a month or so later and found him walking a mile up the road to town with a gas can. Stopped long enough to say it looked like a nice day for a walk. oldscool carma

The scrap iron will go to the Goodyear store right by my house.  I've spent so much there that they take it no questions asked and add it to their scrap pile.
