Your opinion wanted- Which logo is better?

A local pal of mine is doing logos for a new classic car club web deal. I'll be working with him on some of their how-to videos. He asked me to choose my preferred logo, and also to get an opinion from any local car guys I know. So, I wanted to put this out there and just ask- Which do you prefer?

I'll "B" different.

I like shiny and the reference to a '55 Chev...cool

If the club is for people perpetually involved in restoration, I should fit right in...doh

I like B but it is so overdone everywhere, I will go with A.

D. All the above.

Take the lettering from B and use it on A, then take the little gold monopoly looking Hotrod blow it up and insert it where the black Hotrod is on A.

You asked.

I like them all, but if its between those two options, I like A. However, not to be Debbie Downer but my only concern would be with a trademarked logo, symbol or in this case, a 32 Ford. Ford or GM may never notice but their legal dept(s) have been known to go after the little guy in the past for using a trademarked logo.

I like A, but is it a hotrod club or a restoration club?

I like the shape of A alot. B makes me instantly think of tri-fives. The font and car in A makes me think it's oriented towards pre-1950 era cars. The star and lines at the very bottom reinforce that war-era thinking.

Also, on A, the car bring oversized and the lines creating the motion effect looks good, but might be more difficult to pull of if a decal is to be made with those lines past the edge. It would look good as a decal with black, red, and the "white space" being chrome/foil.

Thanks guys! The feedback is appreciated.

The club will be for guys who work on their own stuff- building any vintage car involves elements of restoration, even when it's a hot rod...and of course you can restore an old hot rod or custom to it's former glory too.
The powers-that-be are confident the name will attract the kind of hands-on crowd they are looking for. We'll see, I guess..!

I appreciate your input, and I'll let you all know when this goes 'live' and when any cool stuff gets posted. I may also recruit some of you to share your work on camera.
More to come!
