My wife and I went on vacation to celebrate our 20th anniversary.

Condo we rented for 10 days.

View from the lanai......that's 5 thousand miles of Pacific Ocean out there and we were 2400 miles from the mainland.

I saw a whale several hundred feet from shore.

Sunset

A condo is the only way to go when you go to Hawaii...so much nicer and cheaper than a hotel.

We had our honeymoon on Maui and have wanted to go back for several years, but our son didn't have much interest. We decided to wait until he was in college and go to the big island for the 20th. We're glad we waited, as he would've been bored stiff with all the heritage sights and "tourist shopping" we did.

 I tried, Mike, but it didn't work...dunno

I need to follow Jon and go south for about 3 months in the winter.

Mitch...Come on down next year, lots of places to rent.  79* today and sunny. Put some miles on the Harley through the mountains.

That's the problem with only going for a couple weeks. We still come back to winter...banghead

Sometimes a couple of months is too short. The last two years after we got back in April we have gotten over 20" of snow.  Talk about frustrating. Just be glad you aren't living in Boston this year, ouch.
