NOS SS rocker moldings

I came across these this morning and threw them an offer. I didn't really expect them to accept, but maybe counter. They took the first offer. Now I'm wondering if I should have offered less...confused

Looks good to me if you got them for less than $500 total including  s&h.    The most difficult to find are the rear moldings.  I  think that John in Lino Lakes has a set of NOS wheel moldings and wants round $700 for the set.  If you also  are looking for a set of used Malibu rocker moldings.

Yup, well below $500 shipped !!

I got the rocker moldings with the Malibu and haven't really assessed them yet. I know one has a crease.

I am watching for the SS quarter moldings too. Clean used parts would be good.

The SS is getting the back half rebuilt over the winter. Should be all clean metal when it comes back out in the spring...thumbsup

The Malibu doesn't need as much work and will get the new trunk floor installed and possibly a left quarter panel. Ambitious goal, but it would be nice to have them both "paint ready" in 6 months.

I' ll have to looks at my Malibu rocker moldings again.  I think one is pretty good and the other has a bad spot on the bottom.

I got the moldings Friday. Very hard to get good pics of them but they are NICE !!

I ordered the new repro quarter moldings from The Parts Place today. They claim the new ones are NOS quality. We shall see when they get here.

Now I'm committed to straight body repair and really nice paint to go with all these parts..doh
