2014 motorsports fun!

2014 season begins!

Had a bit of fun with the Miata on Sunday at ValleyFair... drove rather poorly, but had fun anyway. Still on lousy tires, stock alignment, stock shocks, and stock sway bars. Next event I'll be sure to be on top level tires, a good alignment, and an adjustable sway bar, which should help considerably.

cool

I hope others will post pics as they attend competitive motorsports events as well, Chevelle or not. thumbsup

So where does one find the autocross schedule?  I obviously can't rely on you to let me know when there's an event.  Imgonna

I've been going to the Lyle MN truck & Tractor pull every year since I was a toddler. My uncles have been pulling Ford tractors for 30+ years... That's my cousin's 10 year old son on the "Sportsman" class Fordson SuperMajor, and me in the Truck pulling 7000lb stock gas/non-turbo Diesel class.

Wont be able to do any more autocrosses at Valley Fair anytime soon, most of the lot is flooded.

We can only do VF in the spring before the park opens.

The new ones pull better than the old ones... More power, and they don't wheelhop like the old trucks.

VERY tempting now that I have the bug...  If I did, I would drive the Camaro down.  That thing handles tight, and even better with the new tires.  I'm starting to have bad thoughts...  headscratch
