Thats exactly what my response was to this as well.

Dash pad too Dan? Be carefull with the repro dash pads. I havent heard anything good from any repro dash pad available out there. I have heard though, there are several good interior shops that have been re-doing existing dash pads with great results. Far cheaper then what shops like Justdashes get (5-800 plus).

Car got keyed right in front of my house on the trailer sometime after 11pm and before 8am on a Weds night. Had it loaded for the KC show in late Sept. Looks like somebody took a box cutter to the passenger side all the way to the steel. Decided to paint the whole thing as the paint is getting dated. Guess we will find out what is under there. Hopefully will turn it into a real nice driver and we will put some miles on it.

Dash pad is really good, just getting the dash gauge pod, a couple of new gauges and repainting the black parts. Interior is actually pretty good but the door panels both have a small rip where people catch their feet getting in.

Dan, that's terrible about the keying. I don't understand how someone gets their kicks doing that kind of thing other than it's a huge jelousy issue. They should be

! Hopefully your insurance is covering some of all of the cost.

Watch out for that snowball... it gains momentum and gets bigger with every part that comes off the car. Trust me on this...

Or Dan, you could just go out and pick this one up instead of going through all that work, plus it's in your neighborhood!

Tell me again, what is NOCC?
When you are headed to Cleveland our home is about ten hours east of Forest City Iowa and three hours west of Cleveland. Make a good pit stop, just south of I80, hot food, warm bed and lots of off street parking.

Kevin, it is by far the best Chevelle only show in the country (Northern Ohio Chevelle Club)! 200 Chevelles (all kinds ElCaminos, wagons etc) Large Holiday Inn sold out to the Chevelle club so pretty much have the run of the place. Couple of cool cruises, band in the parking lot to wee hours of the night. This years theme is Chevelle-O-Ween and lot of people will be dressed up and have their cars decorated. Last year there was 69 69's on the lot of every color you could come up with. A real Baldwin and a couple of Yenko's. The show is technically Friday Saturday, but we were there Tuesday night and found 20-30 Chevelles there already. It gets better year after year! Dan, I knew there was a big Chevelle show in Strongsville Ohio, I just never heard it referred to as NOCC. I plan to attend this year, it’s only 2.5 hours from our home.

Snowball is starting out slow, but picking up speed! Parts are stacking up everywhere. Ordered A/C today, need to get an engine built, find a 200r4 somewhere, get head out of rear and get busy. Took longer than I thought to get over the infection Mayo gave me with my "minor" surgery on Halloween. Cars a filthy pig under all the good stuff.

These CAC evolutions or evolving winter projects can grow quickly. However, the results are a much improved ride in the spring. Having said that allow me to come fourth and help spend your money.
I see a single master cylinder mounted on your brake booster. Have you thought about installing a dual master and disc up front or is it complicated by your modified hand brake system?
Stan is the expert on finding 200R4 cores. Have him get one and take it over to Master Trans, you should be able to take it home after the Bowtie Brunch.
Sounds like Santa’s bringing lots of parts but, we need more pictures.
Glad you were able to kick that infection, their no fun. I have my calendar marked for July 30 thru August 2 hope to see you there and the invite is still open to NCC folks for the pit stop.

Already have half of a front disc kit here out in the garage with the dual master (backordered some of it and should be here soon). We plan on driveing it more and that has always bothered me a little. Trying to keep a stock look to a point, but that was a change that was needed. It will look stock until you open the hood for a few things. Will give Stan a call, not sure if I can make the Brunch this year or not, heading to Hawaii the Tuesday after and have a ton of things to get done first.

Actually... I found a 200R4 in Rochester a month and a half ago and snatched it up. It has about 15K on a rebuild, so I'm going to take it to Master over the Christmas break and have John check it out.

I told you, Stan can find hard to get car parts under rocks. He must have been terrible on Easter morning, probably had all the candy on the first pass.

Just some of the new stuff, mostly waiting for the paint guy to get caught up. He is backed up with the cold weather. Hope to start getting a few pieces bolted together soon.

Transmission should be finished any day now, thought Stan had found a 10 bolt for me last week, but a day late I guess. Still in need if anybody has one they would like to sell.
