We could probably organize a car-pool here, if others want to go...

I'm looking at Saturday-only. Leaving around 4:00am and coming back that same evening.

Hmmm... Google Maps shows that's just a little over 6 hours from my house.  Might have to think about it.  headscratch

Maybe I can use the excuse that the outlaws from Nebraska will be at our house for Thanksgiving, so I need a weekend before to do 'my thing'.

Ummm... if you live near Rochester.  razz

I really wanted to go, but just couldn't make myself get up at 2:30 a.m., leave my place by 3 a.m., and head south.  Then not get home until 9 or 10 p.m.  I want to go next year, but will make find a low cost hotel and drive part way down Friday night.

Didn't anyone bring a camera and take pics to share?

There is just too much going on this time of year. Why do they always have it the weekend before Thanksgiving ??? Why not a few weeks earlier when the schedule isn't so hectic ?

Bill, I have been lurking on the Blue 70 LS6 vert thread on TC.  Especially since he was in frame off mode about the same time mine was.  Obviously, his is rarer than mine and worth a whole lot more $$, but I enjoyed watching Dave B.'s work as well.  It would have been awesome to see it in person.

How do you know Dave B.?

I'm guessing from the Cleveland show. Dave's a great guy, we spent a couple of days at his shop in Fort Wayne, golfing etc two years ago on our way to Niagra Falls while he fixed my trailer brakes.  You guys need to get out more. thumbsup

Hi Stan ..yes Dave did some very nice work on that car the car was bot with chassis done  the rest was in boxes when delivered to Dave's shop  in Ft Wayne I think they only found 3 things not correct on it

I took a bunch of pics on my I phone not sure I could upload here ..... but the Supercar Registry/ Yenko  site will have a bunch of pics Im sure

I got through my pictures last night and was a little disappointed, I need to learn how to use the camera on my phone better, many of them were blurry.  Here's what I did get.

http://s469.photobucket.com/user/sbsrkh1/library/MCACN%202013

Some of the show features were the 1st Production Cobra, and several of the 20 1967 L88 Corvettes.  I think the Barn finds are some of the best parts of the show. They had a '57 Corvette with an aftermarket supercharger.  They had molded a bulge in the hood to make it fit, there was a wedding picture from '58 that showed the bulge, so it must have been on since day 1.  I got to see my first Chrysler "mod top" car and there were several Baldwin Motion cars on display.  I also got a couple of pictures of a '37 Chevy with an old Turbo set-up built into the intake.

Thanks for the pics, Steve. Yeah, phone cameras don't usually take the best quality pics.

I had a cousin who bought a '67 L88 Corvette in '69. He kept it until his death in the late 80's from a brain tumor. His brother got it and sold it shortly after. It was Silver.

Cool pics, did any of them turn out of the supercharger on the vette? I would imagine it was an old McCulloch / Paxton Supercharger.

Steve, I think I saw one of those 'mod top' cars on Muscle Car TV or some show I watched.  I think the marketing team on that one were 'high' on life in the 60's/70's when they picked that 'from the factory' vinyl roof pattern!  laughing

I took one but it was blurry.

Here's a bunch of pictures from the Yenko site:

http://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/547855/2013_MCACN_s_Saturday_Coverage#Post547855

One "new" car that was pretty cool was the 2014 Z28.  Not in Production yet, owner on the sign board was General Motors.  I got a few really blurry pictures of that one too.banghead
