That will be on an autocross track next summer. Speaking of summer, what is she going to drive for the next 6 months ???

I don't mind the wheels. What is the pattern ?? I'm looking for fancy pants wheels for my HHR  17" 5x110

I need to buy some 18" snow tires... hopefully stability control will take care of the rest.

They're 18" with 5x120... good news is that a lot of other cars use the same pattern, so selling these and buying something I like won't be too difficult.

Nice!

Is that LS powered?  I'm guessing it's a front wheel spinner and not all wheel drive.  I don't know much about that model.

6.0L LS engine, 6L80 6-speed auto, and REAR wheel drive. gearbanger

I've been driving an R-package Miata for a month, and the G8 feels light and nimble to me... crazy.

Ouch, no more winter nap for that car.

Yeah, I didn't think the wheels from a G8 were the same, but I hadta ask !!

14.023 @ 102.84

Disappointed with the ET, but happy with the trap speed. It was dead-hooking but still only pulling 2.15 60' times. There seems to be a lag off the line.

Were you using the stability or traction control mode ? They tend to hold the power back until it senses the car is moving fast enough.

What is your reaction time ??

No rain down there ? We had sprinkles/drizzle/light rain off and on all day.

stability control was turned off, and shifting in manual mode seemed to be fastest.

Reaction times were all over the place... it's been 3 years since I've done it. Best was .160 but most were .2s and .3s (got 9 runs in)

It rained early so we started late. Only about 30 cars there, so i could have done way more runs if I really tried.

Get the reaction down under .1 and the 60' will be under 2 seconds and the et around 13.85. That's awfully close to what you estimated.

Looks like the car is doing it's best. Need to work on "pilot error"....razz

We need to get a group out to Rock Falls next year. With the crappy spring and the short summer, I never went this year...banghead

RT is not included in the ET's. It doesn't start the "clock" until the car leaves the line.

My fastest run had the slowest RT (first run in 3 years = holy crap, it's green already!)

Jenna will be racing this car next summer... I need to be racing a certain blue Chevelle that I haven't worked on in over a month.banghead

I suppose I should, but she knows better anyway. laughing

She drove her rusty 10-year-old 190,000+mile slow POS ugly Bonneville to work again... wonder what kind of trouble I can find with the G8 again today. gearbanger

BTW, here's what I'm thinking... CCW replicas in 18x8.5 and 18x9.5

Same style as the Chevelle will get, except the Chevelle will get real CCWs in 18x9.5 and 18x11

Get a tune and get rid of the torque management and it will make quite a difference.

Wow, tell Jenna nice car.  Now you'll have to convince her you should drive it because of all the door dings she'll get in the clinic parking ramp. laughing  Wish I would have had the weekend free to go to Cedar Falls, I never made it down there this year.  That thing looks to have a pretty good size trunk, a nitrous bottle in the corner wouldn't take up hardly any room at all.razz
