just wondering is anyone else will be driving in the Lakeville Pan-O-Prog Cruise night this Friday, 7/12. I'm planning on it, as my grand kids think it it a blast so i will take both cars.

Yep, my wife and daughter are going to ride along.  It's possible Chad may go, but he won't know until tonight.  If he does, we'll pick a meet up spot before going to the high school so that we get in the cruise line together.

I'll post for sure later Bruce.

I'm also planning on doing the show on Sat. in downtown Lakeville from 1-4 p.m.  Did it last year, and it was a nice smaller show.

We're planning to be there unless there's a threat of rain. Our car lacks (among other things) functioning windshield wipers.

Rain-X or throw Lorraine a towel and have her reach around the window to keep it clear!  thumbsup

Just kidding Ron!  beers

We'll look for you in the parking lot at the high school.

that is not too bad, my wagon  lacks window.

good news the forecast is no chance of rain until after midnight Friday night and that is only 20%

I'll second the comment about Stan's car. The paint (and everything else!!) looks very nice. When it finally got home from paint, Stan mentioned that his goal remained to have it ready for Car Craft. I'll have to admit that I thought reassembling a "bare" car would likely take longer than the time he had remaining. Then when I saw that he had it running and taken it to the car show at his workplace, I wondered what things were still left to do even though it was running under its own power. Well, it looks like there are only a few minor finishing touches that remain. It would be interesting to know how many individual components (including the fasteners needed) had to be assembled when putting the car back together. Probably a few more than the AMT models that I built when I was a kid.

We should have held our July meeting since we had about as many members and cars at POP than a regular meeting!  laughing

Thanks guys for the compliments.  It was great seeing you and your families there, and all in all the cruise was pretty good again.  The usual burnouts throughout the cruise, and some pretty cool cars.  I would have done a couple of burnouts but only having 100 miles on the car meant I would be 'that guy' that did one and the drive shaft dropped out from underneath!

I went to the POP show yesterday, and it was full again.  They reduced it down to Top 15 instead of 20, and the competition was tough.  Bruce Tschida won a Top 15 with his silver '70 Chevelle vert.  I don't know if it was an LS5 or 6, but suspect it was one of them.  I talked to some nice folks about my resto, and got a lot of nice comments.

I'm up to 247 miles now after going to Hastings last night, and Tina and I are running errands and meeting our son in Chanhassen for brunch, so will push the 350 mile mark today!  Then it's cleanup time for CC later in the week.
