Nice 8N and a great price! They were built from '48-52.

The '53+ tractors had a different hood shape, and overhead valves.

Mine is a '47 "2N"

My BIL just picked this mid-50s; (I think a 55) Ford Tractor for $1500.00. Three point hitch, PTO, lights everything works. I always wanted to restore one of these for yard work, guess I need to get a bigger yard first.

Coincidentially. I was at Jamies place this weekend and noticed he has nearly the exact same model in his shop. Pretty nice shape actually. It was bought new by a family member back in the early 50's.
