With the weather we've had so far this season, there hasn't been a lot of incentive to get the cars out and about.

Now that your "honey-do" list is shorter, maybe the weather could co-operate and let us enjoy some sun and warmth.

I am watching the radar to see if I want to run up to Hugo for the Veteran's car show. Not looking promising so far...rolleyes

I haven't had the wagon out once yet. I had a nagging pair of leaks at the end of last season and I'm finishing up those fixes now. Just not motivated when its so cld and wet out. But...there's a driving event at the end of June ( www.optimainvitational.com ) and I will be there for it. I have to work at the event so my pal Scott will drive my wagon there. It will be leak free and have a new clutch by then. I miss the nice weekend drives!

WWW.OPTIMAINVITATIONAL.COM made it a link for you.

Any info on the Vegas/SEMA one yet? I'd like to try and get out there if I can.

There's some info on the same page, but the basics are that it's run at a track in Pahrump, outside Las Vegas, on the Saturday after the show. It's an all day affair, ending right at sunset.

So, you're welcome to go and spectate. I can get you tix for that. But you'll have to make travel plans to accommodate it.

If you want to go, just say the word.

Thanks Scott, I'm waiting on another attendee to get his stuff together, then I'll let you know if it's a go or not. My Grandma had a place in Pahrump in the winters. Long sold now, would have made a great crash pad.
