2013 Club Merchandise Apparel -(Need New Club Logo)

I am getting a quote together for our options for some new Club Hats, Tees, Sleeveless or Tanks, as well as some button-up Shop Shirts.  I am looking for the New Updated Club Logo... An emailed Digitized form sent to me would be perfect.  I will be in touch with the embroidery business first part of this week and need to get this info to them so I can have Pricing Quote ready by end of the week to bring along with me to club meeting this Sat. in Maple Grove.  I hope to also have a catalog  to bring along so we can vote and decide on shirt styles and quantities of each.  Thanks!

I also got Stan pricing last fall from a local trusted vendor based on the new logo.  Don't forget to compare for best pricing, they vary greatly between vendors.  Make sure you get a vendor that can and will deliver as promised as it can be a headache if they don't deliver as promised.  Also beware of hidden shipping costs as they can significantly increase costs.  I speak from experience.

I think he's referring to the updated one that shows '64-87' instead of the old '64-72'.  We followed ACES lead on extending it to '87 a few years ago.

FYI - the original logo was created on a CAD program that's obsolete/proprietary/low-res... name it.

When we included '87s, I re-created the logo on a graphics program, and saved it in all of the (currently) popular formats, at the highest resolution (DPI) available, so it is usable by printers, embroiderers, etc.

There's really no change to the logo, other than the loss of the "police badge/shield - Yenko-esque" curvature at the top & bottom of the words Chevelle and Club.

Unless you had the two side by side or were intimately familiar with it, you wouldn't notice the difference in graphics. John did a good job making it look nice.

Funny story about that...

I drew it in AutoCAD when I first started drafting school. We hadn't learned how to create PDFs yet, and it was done after class with no teacher available to ask for help, so it was converted to a jpeg by pasting a screen-capture of the drawing into Microsoft "paintbrush" and then saved as .jpg

From there, I filled the colors in with the spilling-bucket looking icon in the "paintbrush" program. laughing

Sounds like how I do the newsletters, I have Microsortof Word, an old one. I have to do it, send it to John who converts it to something that can be emailed. I can add pics and change font, plus a coule basic things, but that's it.
