I used to work with someone from Wisconsin that had been going for over 20 years.  He never missed one, and said it was huge.

That's a ways from here though, isn't it?

218 miles from me, that's why I am staying one night. Still closer than Jefferson, WI. I went to that twice during the spring meet and it rained both times.

I've gone to Iola a few times years ago.  It is huge, but at that time they used to have a lot of non-car related vendors selling flea market stuff you had to walk through.

Probably still will be. That seems to be the direction the local meets have gone too the past several years. Guess the sponsors aren't as interested in what the vendors bring as long as they pay for the space...rolleyes

I went for at least 10 years in a row, but haven't gone in several years now... usually very HOT when I have gone.

I've gone every year for the past 32 years. They have really cracked down on the non-car related venders. In fact, they have cracked down on everything. One of the guys in our group had a couple of 1960s Playboys and we were issued a written warning for selling "pornography". If you get three warnings, you won't get your vender spots again. Pretty much everyone down our isle got a warning for something. I know two just in our isle got written warnings for not having enough car related items for sale. (I don't know exactly what the percentage is).

Anyways, I'll be there again this year. spots C-34-36. Stop by and say hi.

Sounds like maybe they have gone a little "overboard" but it is nice to see they want relevant displays.

One of the guys I used to work with always brought trailers full of blasted and painted rally wheels with new GM rings and caps. He would pay me $1 a piece to save him the reman wheel boxes we got at the shop.
