After I got done with the dog's bath, I started wrapping presents on the kitchen table. I'd barely started when i heard a tapping on glass, like someone at a window. I looked around and didn't see anyone so I went back to work. We do have a Cardinal that will peck at it's own reflection sometimes. A couple seconds later, I hear it again and louder.....OK I gotta find this. I walk in the family room and it's coming from the glass doors on the fireplace. I open them cautiously and out spills SANTA !!!  I'm like DUDE, what are you doing here this early ??? He explains that with the lagging economy, things are a little tight at the North Pole and he's wondering if he can use my wrapping paper to wrap a couple things for my wife. I'm like OK, go ahead....dunno  He swings a backpack off his shoulder and out pops 2 elves. They have 2 boxes and grab my wrapping stuff and presto, the gifts are wrapped and they hop back in the sack. Santa says Thanks and asks me to hide them until Christmas morning. You see, feeding the reindeer has gotten expensive too and he's trying to cut down the route a little.  With that, he puts his finger to his nose and goes up the chimney again. I'm standing here wondering if what I just saw was a dream but there are the gifts on the table. Then I realize the 2 from Santa are in the same wrapping paper as the ones from me and I KNOW my wife is going to think I wrapped them. BOY do I have a story for her THIS year.....laughing

Cale says Santa can bring us a Model T all in pieces, and put it together in my shop. I hope he's right! thumbsup

I sure wish the short people in my house could help me build a car as quickly as those elves.

Wow, now I know how a comedian feels doing a gig with a tough crowd.

All meant as a little Holiday humor....razz

I'll be off line for a while, so All Y'all have a good Christmas...thumbsup
