Has anyone ever used PODS for storage or transport?  I’m trying to find the max allowable load for an 8’x8’x16’ pod.  All I can find on their site is that the average household weight is 5K but no reference to the max weight the container can hold.

I did email the company but their all backed up with Storm Sandy and there WEB site is not much help.

There are other company that do the samething. I know one thing for sure. They are a little EXPENSIVE !....

When I pulled containers, a 20' would get stuffed with 40,000lbs. The chassis that it sits on needs to be rated for the weight by wheel base. That may be what they are basing the allowable weight on.
