 Hi Lisa!  Thanks for posting.

There is a flyer, but unfortanately it is in a format that we can't figure out how to post on the forum.  Chad did put more information on the calendar link (see solid blue bar above) in Aug.  Or, I think this link will take you to the calender link:  http://northstarchevelles.activeboard.com/p/event/?eventID=55461&view=view

I believe that Bryan is still making some  minor changes to the flyer, so I'm sure we will email this to the club members when it is 100% completed.

Is there specific information you are looking for?

Here's how the trophies were chosen:

There were 5 spectator's choice trophies, top votes and down to 5th. Each vendor had a choice: Keystone, Chris & Rob's, Kiss's, Fred's, Corvette Specialties. Northstar members picked one, MSMA picked one, and Friendly employees on-site picked one (either entered or spectator employees). The club picked it's top 3, and then compared it's top pick to the spectator choice winners. If there was a match, we would have gone with choice #2, then 3 if it came to it. Friendly's choice had some basic rules: Must be a Chevy, had to be of show quality, could not be an employee's car.

There were no duplicates other than the coloring contest winner who's "papa" (dad?, grandpa?) also won a trophy.

What a fantastic show and a great job on the planning and execution throughout the entire show. You were also right Bryan about the part where you mentioned not seeing the same cars you see show after show.

I think next year, letting participants know that Friendly employees cars arent eligable for Friendlys award, Northstar Club members arent eligable for the NCC award (unless they pay the same entry fee as everyone else) and stuff like that gives the people that bring thier cars out an appreciation for this show and gives them a good feeling of wanting to come back again every year. Not that you didnt mention that, I recall it being mentioned a few times and I think its something a lot of car owners like to hear from shows like this.

The only real complaint I heard wasnt really a complaint actually, more of a question of where were the trash cans. Since they were at the light poles, no one could see them once the parking spots between the light poles started filling up and blocked the view of them. I had no idea they were there until the end of the show when the cars all left. Well, accept for the one on the very end.
