Just wondering if there are any other addicts who need multiple "fixes" this summer...

I usually walk in for B2the50's on Sunday for the swap. I'll be at Car Craft again, usually Fri-Sun.

BTTF's -I register both mine and my step-dad's '47 Ford trucks for the BTTF's every year to get the buttons but we walk in and leave our coolers and chairs with friends of mine that have cars in the show.  That becomes home base.  Most years I go all 3 days.  One of my nephews likes to go with me one of the days.

Car Craft - Last year was the first year I didn't have a car at the Show since it's inception.  I plan to have the Chevelle there this year.

SS/FR - Haven't made it yet but have friends that go and they enjoy it.  I'm already an MSRA member so I might make it one of these years...

Summer Cruise - I'm not familiar with other than the post we had on here.  Sounds like a good time.

CC is a must-do. I've got some other Pro-Touring deals I want to go to as well - Road Courses are addictive. Seriously.

I want to hit the drags a couple more times too. I need an 11-second timeslip. That was always the goal for this car- 20+ mpg, solid handling/braking, 11-second quarter-miles, all on pump premium.

The 'show' thing doesn't have as much appeal to me because my car isn't built to be competitive in shows. It's just not that nice and I'm okay with that because its what I want anyway. I go to the shows to see you guys.

Scott, you should really consider "PowerCruise" up at BIR... road-track AND drags in the same weekend!

John- I am considering it! It sure sounds like a cool deal. I've got nothing carved in stone yet this season beyond Car Craft...but I will definitely hit a few events. I love variety...and if a couple other guys are headed up to PowerCruise, that might be a lot of fun! That nitrous button is screaming to be tickled on the strip....

I do 50's every year.  Usually all 3 days.  My father-in-law lets me take one of his cars.  I have a very strong tradition of going to Iola every year.  I am hit or miss for Car Craft summer nationals.  I have always only been a spectator for that one.  This summer hoping to spend alot of time there with my Chevelle.  Hanging out with and getting to know fellow club members better.

I signed up for the Northern Chevelle Gathering in Niagra Falls this year.cuckooPlan on takeing the bus, no a/c, 6-8 mpg, etc. Should be an awesome trip though. Seem to hit these long road trips, but can only seem to get to the cities once a year or so. Hope to hit North Saint Paul and maybe Hastings. Already signed up for Route 66 show in Springfield Il (6 years in a row, this ones a hoot) and probably do Good Guys in Des Moines. nana
