Or man cave, as it is. I've been cleaning and organizing my cave for the past few weeks a few hours at a time. I'm hosting a Camaro club tour here next month and it really was a sh!t hole after the last 2 winters of restoration work. Today I discovered the concrete floor extends all the way to the back wall...nana

I brought the LS5 down off the racking and mounted it on the stand for mobility. I then put the engine for my GTO on the pallet to get it off the floor.

It's been a rather expensive month, what with the cpp brake conversion. I also bought a 10x10 pop up with 3 sides and a rolling storage bag at Nothern along with a cut off tool and another pair of ratching jack stands. Last night I met a guy from Eden Prairie whom I bought a bellhousing and flywheel from along with an almost new Hurst Comp Plus for the '66. It came with all the rods and arms too.

And then there's pushrods "donation" to my already cluttered mess... think I can get it under there ?

Thats the same shifter I use in my 66. I cant imagine anything different with the perfect curve it has.

That's good to hear. It doesn't look like a lot more curve than what I have but the current stick almost touches the dash in 1st and 3rd. Makes for a long reach.

Nice shop how many square feet is it. I can't hardly ever find my floor under all the dust and crud.

Shop is 1100 and another 900 of cold storage.

I've been moving parts and boxes that had been on the floor for some time and the accumulated dirt around them was embarressing.

Stand by inspection will commence at 0800 hours.
Looks good Mitch, when are you going to move your lift in there?

Are you on your way ? I'm ready, coffees hot and the cinnamon rolls should be out of the oven about 8:30. Oh, bring LOTS of gloves...hyper

When the day comes that I send the Pete down the road and know it will never have a semi in the shop again, THEN the lift will get moved.
