I sold a Eaton Series 2 carrier and the spacer (aftermaket ) to a guy in FL last summer for I think about $150-$200 plus shipping, don't remember for sure.. It was in my chevelle when I bought it in 2004 had 3.55 gears. It needed a new clutch pack. The 3.36 gears must be aftermarket.

Boy is my memory bad.  Looked up my ad on TC, sold it for $100 plus shipping to Lionel-a-Chevelle (or something like that) first name is Troy in Fl in Oct of 2010.  I see spacers for sale around $20.

The series 2 carrier was generaly used with a automatic.

Came out of a '68 Camaro, but looks like a good deal.  I'd snatch it up if I hand't already figured out my gear/posi situation.

Beware......... The posi unit numbers indicate it is a series 2 carrier not a 3. So those 3:31 gears are not correct for that.

Interesting... is it even possible to bolt up a 3 series gear onto a 2 series diff?  I assumed they had different bolt patterns.  headscratch

Shows you that I've stayed away from getting inside these things...

Yes the ring gear will bolt on but the spacing of the ring gear to the carrier will be off when it is all stuffed into the housing.
