Thanks Chris P.  I actually searched CL last week for a Performer RPM, but didn't find anything.  That's a great price for an RPM air gap, but I'm not sure if it might be taller than a regular Performer RPM.  I'll have to find some spec sheets to compare both to the crappy Performer 2.0 I have now as I'd like to keep the cowl induction air cleaner.  Sounds like I need to give the Edelbrock tech line a call!

The dimensions are on there web site for the newer manifolds. But you may have to call them for the one you have on it now

I just got done looking them up.  Both RPM manifolds are 3/8" taller than the 2.0 that I have now.  BUT... I'm also using a 3/8" rubberized carb spacer to help with fuel boiling on hot re-start with the 2.0, so if I remove that spacer, I should be fine with the height.

I'm going to call on the CL ad now.  Buffalo is a bit of a hike, but worth the $100 savings off a new one (plus shipping)!

Hopefully I have better luck with this guy than the car dollies!  razz

Stan. If your concern was if it will fit under your stock hood. Brad had the same intake under his stock hood of his 70 El Camino without any problems.

My setup is different because I'm using the cowl induction air cleaner.  If I remember right, Brad had a drop down chrome air cleaner, which would have made it much lower than the cowl air cleaner.  I should still be o.k. if I take out the 3/8" spacer.  Currently, the cowl seal makes contact with the ring on the underside of the hood as it should when the hood closes.

The seller actually got back to me, and we are supposed to meet at lunch next week to make the 'deal'!  nana
