Nominations for Officer positions will be taken at both the October & November meetings, with elections being held at the November Meeting.
Please review the following excerpts from our Club Bylaws:
Section 2. Voting Rights
Each Club membership may include up to (2) adult voting members. These members may have any family relationship or may be co-residents of the same family domicile. For all Club membership votes only the votes of those attending where the vote takes place are to be counted. No more than (2) votes will be allowed per membership.
The privileges of holding office, making motions or nominations and voting shall be limited to current members in good standing.
ARTICLE III – OFFICERS
Section 1. Responsibilities
The Club officers shall be responsible for the general supervision of the Club activities as well as management and control of the affairs of the Club
Section 2. Liability
There shall be no personal liability for any Club officer for activities the officer believes are in the best interest of the Club.
Section 3. Terms of Office
All Club officers shall have one-year terms with no restrictions on the number of terms.
Section 4. Election of Officers
Nominations for officer positions will be made at the regular October or November Club meeting. All Club officers shall be elected at the November Club Meeting. Election shall be by a majority vote of the members present. There will be no absentee voting.
Section 5. Duties of Officers.
President – Preside at all meetings and coordinate Club activities. The president may hold only one elected position.
Vice-president – Assist the president and take over in presidents’ absence.
Secretary – Responsible for recording meeting minutes.
Treasurer – Responsible for Club finances.
Webmaster – Operate and keep current the club website.
