For you northern suburb guys there is a dealer that is opening on HWY 65 and 147th street. Just across the hwy from rapid sport marine on the east side of 65.
They are not fully open yet but I stopped in and was able to walk around and check out what he had. He says it is going to be just buying, selling, and consignments. No mechanical or restoration work. Plans on doing car shows and swap meets, says the city OKed all these things already.
I did not see a name or anything yet but I will post more as I find out.
That's where the cool kids hang out. Chris and I used to live south. I grew up off Cliff Rd and HWY 13 in Burnsville. Chris P grew up right off Diffley and 35E.
I actually like the south side of TC better, but somehow I ended up migrating this way. I hadn't been north of I94 (other than to go to brainerd/duluth,etc) until after high school circa 1993.

Hopefully this dealer isnt like the majorty of the rest of these classic car dealers out there. Like those dealers that have the badly rusted 6 cylinder Malibu that they think is worth 20 grand.

Dear Optimist, Pessimist, and Realist.
While you guys were busy arguing about the glass of water. I drank it!
I looked at a bunch of the cars, they were all nice driver quality cars. Nothing that was concours restoration stuff. I did not ask any prices so will have to wait to see on that.
I also stopped and talked to the owner the other day. He is going to call himself "Route 65". He currently has 43 cars for sale, all his own collection. His intent is to buy/sell in the front of the store and do consignments in the back of the store.
He is remodeling another section of the building to buy/sell/consign Harleys of which he has 14 of his own now.
He is trying to locate a guy who used to sell parts like valve covers, crome stuff, etc. at the Anoka show when it was down by the river. If anyone recalls the guy please let me know.
