I have two sets for sale.

First set are 820 casting from a 402, all the valves are there but no springs, and should be gone through. These are semi open chambers at around 112-113 cc.

Second set are 96-98 vortec 454 heads. These are complete valves, springs, and such came off a running engine. These heads are great for flat top piston motors as they are only 99cc chambers so it bumps compression.

Asking $200.00 for each set.

I am guessing your 93 motor has peanut port heads? But yes they would bolt on to your motor or even on older blocks with the correct head gasket. I have read on the internet that these vortec heads are 30hp bolt on over peanut port heads. We were going to use them on my buddies 396 but ended up going a different route.

Yes, I have the peanut ports..... The Vortecs should have matching coolant passages then. We need to talk... I'll call you later today. Can I call your work or would you prefer I wait till evening ?

Everything I've read indicates the Gen V-VI heads don't interchange with the Mark blocks because the water ports are different.  I have a pair of '65 heads here on my LS5 but I've been told they won't match the '93 block....

I believe you are correct you cannot put older heads on newer blocks, but you can put the newer heads on most of the older blocks. I had these heads sitting on that 396 and they covered all the coolant passages just fine. But your 93 block should not be any problem at all. There is a bunch of info on TC about this if you want to do some searching.

One thing I would recommend with these heads is to buy the rocker arm studs to convert them to adjustable valve train.

Give me a call, you can call my work number that is fine.
