Just another day in paradise...

Scheduled to do a "PM" on about 18 exterior cameras at a site today. "What lift do you need" asks the shop...

"A 35', articulated, self propelled. Get the same unit we always use". I reply...

I understand that the rental outfit may not have a 35', but before you substitute another make/model/size, please call me first.

If you drive it fast enough, you'll make it through there no problem.

Here's what I'm thinking... This guy would have been perfectly fine if he just had a little more speed.

A cruise ship can actually go faster and get sucked down into the water a little. Here's one that clears under a bridge by mere feet. When empty, it's too tall, needs ballast and retractable smokestack to (barely) fit.

Letting the air out of the tires might work too.

8 bolts and it's free. Center the bucket under it, lift and take it with.....
