I don't think I would handle knowing my child was going ANYWHERE in  that screwed up part of the world very well.

I wish all of your family to stay safe and strong thru this.

I'll be at a Camaro Club tour of CA Performance just down the road from here.

Just a tip for everyone...

Enter Toll Welding off of Hwy 55.

If you come from the south on Niagra, there's a concrete median (without a turn lane) blocking the entrance! You'll have to do a "U-ie" at 55 anyway!

Refresh my memory. When heading west on 55. Is Niagra on the east side or west side of 494? Yea, yea, I know I can look it up.

Can't make the meeting today. One of my rewards for getting the Elky ready early is some home projects get to be done. New cabinets arrive Wednesday, I need to finish mudding and paint yet.

Now whos going to drive thier Chevelle to the meeting today?

Actually. They didnt use any salt yesterday on the roads since it wasnt cold enough and the snow melted on the pavement anyways. But its chilly and gloomy outside to even enjoy having the car out anyways. Old man winter does it again.

Thanks to everyone that attended the meeting at Toll Welding today.  A little lighter turnout, but seemed like this was a busy weekend for quite a few people.

John D. braved the cold and wind and drove the Elky to show us a preview of his 'smugglers box' project, and it looks like it will be his usual level of coolness.

Thanks to Toll Welding for working a Sat. afternoon after closing hours and showing us the equipment and demo'ing it for us.

See you at the May meeting at Bryan's house then on to the Anoka show!

For people who want more hands on time learning to Mig weld and use a plasma cutter, we could have a Saturday meeting/tech session here too... I should be able to attend that one...

I think I could get into that. Always wanted to learn how to weld.

I had a fun time, learned a lot. I took a 1 hour welding experience class in Junior high (25 years ago) where we basically learned to spot weld and stick metal together. This little bit made much more sense to me. Once I get my welder (used), I'll be looking for practice and probably making up projects just to use it.

Here's some pics for now with a nice spread in the May newsletter:
