Exhaust Cutouts

Call me crazy (again) but I want to put cutouts on my new Chevelle.  Why don't they make it so it just bolts right up to the 3" header collector? They are all weld or slip on for some reason. Anyway, It makes sense to me to get the 3" version since I am seeking as much air flow as possible. I think I may need to have the muffler shop then make the piece from the cut out to the muffler for me, can't be too expensive I would think. If all goes right this might be enough to put me in the 12's!

Anybody use these or have an opinion?

Crabby Rick put a set of the electric ones on his car last year... maybe he'll chime in.

The good ones are not cheap so keep that in consideration.

Steve M had some on a blue 69 he had. Don't know the brand but they weren't too cheap. I know they did work very well though.

plus they're cool.

By the time you pay the exhaust shop to fab up a set you will be at or above the price of a new set,
